Product Overview
The Operator Panel Lower, Software 1 and 2 Board with Elastomers is kit used with the Pyxis ultrasound system. The kit consists of two PWB (Printed Wiring Board) switch boards, two rubber sheets, FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) and cable harness, which is positioned beneath the lower operator panel. The assembly is RoHS compliant and the Pyxis ultrasound unit complies with UL60601-1. During the assembly installation, a PCB covered copper sheets consisting of conductive traces is used along with a non-conductive substrate. Translucent white silicone elastomer containing conductive pucks provides tactile feedback. They are provided with rubber keypad backlighting with chemically resistant coating. It is used in LOGIQ S8 as well, which is also a medical diagnostic ultrasound imaging device. The rubber sheet provides heat resistance, flame retardancy, chemical stability, cold resistance and good weathering ability. They are available in many colors, shapes and sizes. It is sealed environmentally with a laser impression. Elastomers or rubber sheets provides a long operational life. This kit is a spare part or a Field Replacement Unit (FRU) for the Pyxis OPIO3 system, which means that the unit can be replaced if any failure occurs.
