Product Overview
The build-up of dust can impact the performance of electronics/electrical assemblies as it causes the components of the assembly to retain heat and makes it more difficult for the internal fans to dissipate heat from the system, thereby decreasing the efficiency of the entire system. This Hercules 2 Fan Filter assembly is a device which filter outs the dust, particulate matter, and other solid airborne materials. The filter uses a 25 Pores Per Inch (PPI) Polyurethane Open Cell Type foam air filter which acts as a arrester and filter out the large size dust particles. The foam air filter is encapsulated in a dimensionally accurate curved aluminum housing, the curved outside of the housing comes with a wide deflector with mounting provisions and chamfered edges for perfect fit. The deflector comes with alternately bent flaps and 4x 5 X 8 mm long slots on the outside. The aluminum filter housing enhances it resistance against corrosion and gives a long service life. This Hercules Fan Filter assembly is compatible with GE's VCT, Lightspeed Ultra, Lightspeed Plus, Lightspeed QXi, Discovery 750 HD, Lightspeed Pro etc PET/CT systems and will be shipped in suitable packaging to give adequate protection during transit. 2322938-R
