Product Overview
The Flow Control Valve comes as a part of the Alternate Oxygen manifold in Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG) of an anesthesia delivery system. It is used to control the oxygen gas flow through the Medium Pressure Oxygen Service (MPOS) manifold where, pressure is in the range of 50 to 3000 kPa and which, is provided as a part of the unit. The assembly comes into contact with oxygen-enriched gas, a mixture that contains more than 23.5% volume fraction of oxygen. The components are corrosion resistant, despite these conditions and hence it is highly efficient to use in medical environments. The valve consists of a shaft. The clockwise rotation of the flow control shaft reduces the flow. When the shaft is at the minimum stop, the flow from the outlet port is 510-685 mL/min and at the maximum stop, flow is 11.0-12.75 L/min. In and Out ports are permanently identified in position and orientation.
